Meet Doula Leah
Hello! Hello! Hello! Thanks for stopping through to learn a bit about me.
Firstly, I’m on a mission to educate and empower women with female reproductive systems. I love all things babies, women’s reproductive health, and social justice. When I learned of the systematic reproductive injustices against Black women, I dedicated my life to facilitating spaces for healing, equitable access, and justice. I remind women of their inherent power, especially when navigating challenges within reproductive wellness experiences.
Secondly, I’m a perpetual student. I’m a proud graduate of both Howard University and Columbia University. I also completed training with Ancient Song Doula Services, Lactation Education Resources, Steamy Chick, and Brilliant Birth Academy, to name a few. Since my time at Roland Park Country School, an all-girls K-12 school, my studies have focused on the intersections of women’s rights, social injustices facing Black and Latina women, and how trauma-informed methods can help right wrongs.
Thirdly, I’d love to connect with you! Schedule our consultation so we can begin walking through your journey together.
