"I immediately felt safe..."
We had an initial convo and I immediately felt safe and safe with her. She felt like a familiar friend and put me at ease.
She is caring, knowledgeable, informative, and a calm spirit. She not only cares about your health but the baby’s and the well-being of the couple. Papa Bean and I had a virtual meeting with her and she helped us prepare a birth plan and covered numerous intervention options.
During labor, she was still by my side virtually-- checking in, letting me know my options, giving me the real meaning behind all they were saying, and preparing me for things if they went south.
I want women to know the importance of hiring a doula like Leah so they will have someone knowledgeable about our struggles by their side to ensure things are not missed and can help them navigate the medical talk….

“It was divine destiny to work with Sweet Bee Services. You will NOT be disappointed."
Leah and her team were an absolute JOY to work with. If you are looking for a team that truly cares about you and helping you along your entire journey, Sweet Bee Services are for you. Leah and her team helped me achieve my goal of having a safe and empowered VBAC. Throughout my pregnancy, Leah would check-in on me and provide me with so many resources. She is SO calm and nurturing. Her words of encouragement throughout my labor still sit with me.
I was even connected with Sonya, who is a Birth Doula AND Pelvic Floor Therapist (AMAZING), and Erika who is a Registered Dietician and Virtual Doula. It was DREAM to work with them. Sonya has blessed hands (those hip squeezes!!) and Erika provided with insights for nutrition during and postpartum. I'll say 1,000 times that DOULAS are a MUST in your journey.

"I found it vital to have someone throughout my pregnancy and birthing process that could teach me and my partner everything we needed to know before our baby was born."
I couldn't have imagined having a better person in our corner than Leah. She is incredibly knowledgeable, has the most calm and cool demeanor, very sure of herself and loves what she does! Master of all things baby and momma! As a black woman, I found it vital to have someone throughout my pregnancy and birthing process that could teach me and my partner everything we needed to know before our baby was born. I literally still call and text Leah to this day random questions and advice I may need throughout this motherhood journey (our baby is 6 months now lol). Move over Mary Poppins! Leah is and will always be part of our family. We can't thank her enough for all she has done for us!

“ Your positivity and support made a world of difference, and we are forever grateful for the impact you had on our birthing experience."
I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible support you provided during my labor and delivery. Your dedication, knowledge, and genuine care for both me and my husband made such a difference in our birthing experience.
From the very beginning, it was evident that you knew your work inside out. Your expertise in doula services and your ability to be there for us emotionally and physically were remarkable. Your presence alone gave us the confidence we needed during the labor process.
I cannot forget to mention the incident at the hospital. It was an unfortunate and distressing situation, but you handled it with the utmost professionalism and strength. The way you stood up for us, ensuring that our rights were protected and not allowing anyone to stereotype or violate us, was truly admirable. We felt so empowered knowing you were on our side.
Due to Dr.'s behavior and mindset, we made the decision to dismiss him and have another physician deliver our daughter. Your unwavering support throughout this challenging moment solidified the trust we had in you.

“I CANNOT RECOMMEND SWEET BEE SERVICES ENOUGH! WORTH EVERY PENNY!”
I don't know how I would have gotten through without my doula (I loved working with Leah)! She was so attentive to my questions/ concerns and was sure to provide me resources to help work through the hard weeks of pregnancy. Her insights were invaluable and I loved how much she incorporated my partner in the process. He was so relieved after every call knowing how he could best support me in the process.
But the real benefit was when I got into labor. We chose to have a home birth and Leah worked beautifully with the rest of my birthing team. While my midwives cared for my medical needs, my doula was the MOST SUPPORTIVE emotionally and physically. She literally held my hand through every contraction, fed me protein shake through labor, spoke kind and empowering words over me and my baby and wiped my brow with a cool cloth every few minutes.
When my little Bee was finally in my arms, Leah fed me melons while I called family, helped me to/from my bed, and gave me a sponge bath :') When I finally felt strong enough to walk, I came out to an immaculate kitchen, food cooked and she even helped me braid my hair up in a protective style to last me the first couple weeks of postpartum.
