New Season, New Cohort: Join Us for Doula Training Starting May 10
Spring is the season of new beginnings—and for us, it’s also the season of new doulas.
We’re opening enrollment for our next Sweet Bee Doula Training cohort, and if you’ve been sitting with that quiet nudge… that inner knowing that you’re meant to be a support, a guide, a presence for birthing families—this is your moment.
A Community of Care, Rooted in Justice
Every time we open a new cohort, I’m reminded that this work is so much bigger than birth itself. Yes, we teach evidence-based support skills. Yes, we dig into birth physiology, postpartum recovery, and the ethics of doula work. But just as importantly, we create space for advocacy. For healing. For justice.
We talk about what it means to show up as a birth worker in systems that haven’t always seen our Black or Brown clients. We talk about safety, advocacy, and care that honors every body, every story.
What You'll Experience
This isn’t a one-and-done training. It’s a launchpad.
Our program includes:
A full-spectrum curriculum designed to prepare you for real-world birth and postpartum work
Live instruction and engaging activities with experienced mentors
Ongoing access to a community of peers and professionals
A pathway to potentially join the Sweet Bee Services team and support Medicaid-eligible clients
Business guidance to help you build a sustainable practice from day one
Whether you're brand new to birth work or expanding your skills as a caregiver, this training will meet you where you are—and challenge you to grow.
In the Words of a Recent Graduate
“I am beyond grateful for Leah and the unwavering support she has provided on my journey to becoming a doula—one that I have wanted to begin for many years. Leah has always been a reliable resource, consistently guiding me with information on how to pursue my doula certification, but the timing was never quite right. This year, everything aligned, and I had the privilege of participating in her first Full Spectrum Doula Training cohort.
Her wealth of knowledge and wisdom in this work speaks volumes through the level of care, mentorship, and support she provides. Leah's passion for birthwork is truly inspiring, and I could not have asked for a better guide as I step into this sacred work.
For any woman considering a path in birthwork, I wholeheartedly recommend training under Sweet Bee Services. The experience has been transformative and empowering, and I am forever grateful for Leah’s guidance.
Thank you, Leah, for pouring into this work and into each of us who are blessed to learn from you!”
